First Visit to the Zoo

We took our first trip to the Portland Zoo today - what fun! This is us posing on a mommy & baby goat statue. Alex liked the real ones, though.

First Swim Lessons for Alex

Alex will be 7 months old on April 17th and he had his first swim lessons today! We took him to the YMCA in Vancouver, WA. They have a special "salt" pool (not chlorine) so it's easier on the baby's skin and makes the babies more bouyant. Art says, "It's like swimming in a big pool of contact solution!" Alex is showin' his Roots! Clothes, that is. He got this cute Roots shirt and pants (not shown in photo) from his Tita Melody in Canada. Cool duds, eh?
